Leaving on a Jet Plane - Skidmore
Просмотров 7 тыс.13 лет назад
Leaving on a Jet Plane, written by John Denver; arranged by Ian Varley; and performed by the Skidmore Bandersnatchers of 1999, from their album "Beware The Frumious Bandersnatch!" This is a great song, but I feel that all of the interpretations I've heard have been too upbeat. The original John Denver was good, but I think this version beats even that one. If you enjoy a capella, you will enjoy...
Rachmaninoff Prelude Op. 3 No. 2 in C# Minor (Rachmaninoff)
Просмотров 4,1 млн13 лет назад
Prelude in C sharp minor, Op. 3, No. 2. Played by a Bosendorfer 290SE Reproducing Piano, which played back a music roll recorded by Rachmaninoff himself. Thanks to Wayne Stahnke, who designed the piano, we can hear Rachmaninoff's works as he himself played them without having to compromise audio quality. This piece is also known as 'The Bells of Moscow'. It is the second of five 'Morceaux de Fa...

Nocturne in B major, Op. 9, No. 3. Played by Arthur Rubinstein. For the more famous no. 2, please see rmannion's video. I am not going to upload what he has already done. If you want the sheet music, here: imslp.org/wiki/Nocturnes,_Op.9_(Chopin,_Frederic) Rubinstein's recording ©1999 RCA Red Seal, now Sony Entertainment.
sounds like a waltz when its not a waltz. 😕
Nocturnes ,mazurcas ,etudes ,waltz ,everything in Chopin is beautiful
Is beautiful Chopin
Can someone please confirm if this is an accurate take of Rachmaninoff's playing? I understand this is from a music roll recorded by Rachmaninoff. Has it been edited at all? I know Rachmaninoff is one of the greatest pianist of all time, but some of this is damn near impossible at these speeds on this recording! For example that low C# immediately into B3 at 2:00 marking. And doing it consistently 4 times through the next couple of seconds. Some other near impossible parts I see too. Let me know if I'm wrong, just wanted to see if anyone had info.
Aids music
This is the first Rachmaninoff piece that I listened to, and then I discovered more and more pieces of him. My most unfogettable experience was listening to his 3rd concerto. Now he's one of my favourite composers ever.
Me when I go on a cartride for a corndog
The moment @1:40 always catches me. Ohh...Chopin.
Funny how the ending looks like the beginning of the rach 2
Beautiful nocturne 🎹🎵🌺

2:21 something about this part feels like a dramatic final scene in a game or show,, or something, idk I just like it
im so malicious
Is one of the best Chopin’s nocturnes
Those dramatic pauses... literally arresting!
Anyone know what chord/scale the last measure is? Def stealing that as an ending for a jazz ballad
The Deer Hunter film forever.
0:19 Does somebody know why F# instead of F there?
Bro I was like I like the no.1 and 2 so i'll play the 3rd too to complete the three nocturnes, after that I see that random arpegios 💀 at least it sounds pretty well
Pocos pianistas hay que toquen tan hermoso los Nocturnos de Chopin como Arthur Rubinstein❤
MAJESTIC
Rachmanioff actully got new piano after playing this piece
Chopin is a major stockadoodledoo
XX Century classical russian music is on the highest level. No parallels can be done between it and the classical music from the other countries. Rhythm, melody, harmony, it’s decades ahead.
Chopin, siempre Chopin! y Rubinstein su mejor intérprete sin dudas. Delicadeza, pasión y elegancia para una obra de romanticismo en su punto máximo
Who is Brett?
Feels like Sisyphus with a smile.
The quiet parts are what it's like to watch the sunset as a child
Whaaaaat? The end in major?????my life won’t be the same
Yeah,never ever.😢

What's with the awful form analysis? Why is the eingang marked as A?
The Deerhunter ❤
Хорошо
The attention to each note and the pause/suspension is amazing
The jumpscare, dude. I'm just trying to do my homework.
Sorry. Byt well tempered clavier by Bach is MUCH BETTER.
That would be a questionable move to pass judgement like that
❤🎉😮😊
i wonder if koji kondo took any inspiration from here when writing “underwater” for super mario bros.
